Tony slid across the tile of the kitchen floor, grabbing her small bottle of chocolate milk from the counter as she did. Artemis was laying on the couch in the living room. The girls had Tony's house all to themselves. Her parents were at work, Clint had football practice, and Jaymee was hanging out with her friends for the day. Artemis groaned like Mordecai from Regular Show and rolled over on her side. She ended up falling off the couch in the process. Tony walked over and sat down on her back.
"Dude, I'm so bored!" she complained, "what do you wanna do Artemis?" Her friend hit her leg, meaning that she wanted her to get off. Tony rolled over and laid down on the floor next to her.
"Not sure. I'm kinda hungry. Do you wanna go get some food?" Tony nodded, taking a sip of her chocolate milk and hopping up off the floor. She grabbed Artemis and yanked her up.
The two of them walked into the kitchen. Tony went over to the refrigerator and grabbed a cup of pudding. That should've been a given.
"What do you want Artemis?" she asked. She thought for a minute, and after seeing the cream cheese, she came up with her answer.
"I kinda feel like having a bagel," Artemis spoke up. Tony grabbed the package of bagels out of the fridge and set them on the counter. She grabbed one out and popped it in the toaster.
"Grab a fork so you can get it out without burning yourself. I'll be back in a minute. I have to run upstairs and check my ninja pager," Tony informed. She left the kitchen and headed up to her room.
Artemis grabbed a fork out of the silverware drawer. She looked at the fork, to the toaster, then back to the fork, and back to the toaster. She was very intrigued by it.
"I wonder..." she told herself. She walked over and put the fork in the toaster, unaware that it was a very dangerous idea. She felt an immediate electrical shock and was sent falling back to the floor. She screamed as the pain shot through her body.
"Damn! That bitch hurt!" Artemis yelled, "maybe it won't be so bad if I try it again?" She slowly rose to her feet and proceeded to do what she just did, falling back on the floor again. The fork flew from her hand this time, clinking onto the floor.
"I lied! It's worse the second time!" she screamed. Tony heard her and came rushing downstairs, running to her friend's side.
"Dude, what happened?" she questioned. Artemis moaned, and a worried look flashed in Tony's eyes.
"Sticking a fork in a toaster is a bad idea," she announced, rolling over and trying to stand up.
"Even I know that's dangerous!" Tony exclaimed, hitting her palm against her forehead.

Zevran Arainai saw his reflection and couldn’t help but grin. Maker’s breath, but I'm beautiful! Golden hair framed a devilishly handsome and tattooed face, long and silky, and loose if not for the one braid he kept tied behind his head. It helped him in many ways: luring others into his bed, conning someone out of their coin or possessions, or even softening his
