I'm sure he was a wonderful man,
the best husband.
He probably made you
coffee in the morning
with just enough cream
to turn it sweet
and three
lumps
of
sugar.
He probably had one of those
bright smiles
that could make the street lamps
and even the sun
sparkle with jealousy.
He probably took your little
black toy poodle
for walks on rainy days
for fear that the chill
would make you ill.
I'm sure his HEARTBEAT
was the lullaby that rocked you
to sleep at night
when nothing else could. I'm sure
he held you closer than
your skin and clothes allowed
and let you breathe in
his intoxicating aroma.
Every night you were together
made you believe
that magic does exist.

Zevran Arainai saw his reflection and couldn’t help but grin. Maker’s breath, but I'm beautiful! His elven blood gave him a lithe but well-toned build, with smooth brown skin laced with seductive tattoos. Golden hair framed a devilishly handsome and tattooed face, long and silky, and loose if not for the one braid he kept tied behind his head. It helped him in many ways: luring others into his bed, conning someone out of their coin or possessions, or even softening his

COVT - Claudia Complex
Cecile McMillan died years ago, or at least that's what it feels like sometimes. I don't think I can ever forgive Dorian for what those dreams did to my brother. Making me of all people torture him. My death was bad enough. Why did he have to endure it? Why can't my turning be the worst thing he had to deal with? Joss can't stand mom and dad anymore. I can't either, to tell the truth. That's why I went away with Patty, because she's like how mom used to be. But, what Joss doesn't realize is that he is just as broken.
When he was being trained as a Slayer, they broke his spirit. But those dreams using my image broke him mind and soul. I can s

PERCY
"Unnugh…" Percy moaned, rubbing his forehead and sitting up. Dark blotches filled his eyes and he leaned back slightly.
"Eeuurgh", someone copied him. He glanced over in panic, to find his girlfriend, Annabeth, uncurling and grasping firmly onto his hand. Her makeshift cast, from when she'd broken her ankle, had collapsed next to her.
Percy went straight into panic-mode. Was Annabeth alive? (Duh. She had just 'Eeuurghed' at him). Where were they? (He had no idea) and was everything in one piece?
After shifting about a bit, he concluded that he hadn't broken anything, but he'd have nice bruise on his bum tomorrow morning.

I thought it would be cool to write a poem from the perspective of someone who didn't know the person that died, like a funeral planner or a neighbor that simply stopped by to offer condolences
